My superstars

I am in charge of teacher appreciation week for Porter's class. The theme is Hollywood, so I was taking pictures of the kids to decorate the windows. As you can tell Porter is very excited for Indiana Jones to come out. We found his shirt at the Gap and he has worn it almost everyday. I even had to hand wash it so it would be ready in time for school. He got his satchel from grandpa and has been carrying it around. He even had to take the thing to church filled with notebooks and crayons. We call him Indy. Lily of course thinks she is in Porter's class and had to have her picture taken. Doesn't she look glamorous. She had to wear the scarf for the rest of the day. Also take a look at her shoes. They are on the wrong feet, but she said they felt better that way. What can I say she's a coconut.

Happy Birthday Mema. We love you!!!!

Today is my Mom's birthday. I wish I could be there in Russia to wish her a happy birthday. My mom is the greatest. It has been really hard not being able to see her for so long. She is my bestfriend and I love her to pieces. She is a great Mema and my kids love spending time with her. We can't wait for her to see our little Janie.

Mom I hope you had a great day spending your birthday with dad, Nammie, Trace and Chad. I wish I could be there too. You are loved by all.

I hope everyone had a great Earth Day. For all you fellow Trojans, does anyone remember MRs. Barger and how she loved Earth Day. Annie and I even walked home from church on Earth day. Good times.

Happy 100th post and Happy birthday Nancy

Nancy & Me

I just wanted to wish my long time friend, Nancy, happy birthday. We are a day apart and I have always teased her because I was older. Now I wish I was the younger one. I was looking through my pictures and so many fun memories came to me of growing up with Nancy. She was always so funny and so much fun. Nancy was a good girl and never did anything wrong. She loved driving the Mustang and loved going fast. Nancy and I were partners in crime in our driver Ed class. I laugh anytime I think of that class( Ikarumba). I love my friend Nancy and I'm so glad I got to grow up being her friend. She's the best!!!!!!

Weekend getaway to SantaBabara

For an early birthday present Matt took me to Santa Barbara for the weekend. The kids stayed home with grandma and grandpa. It was so much fun to spend some alone time with Matt. We loved Santa Babara and enjoyed hiking, kayaking, eating, and being with each other. I could definitely make this a tradition.
