Happy Easter

Coloring Easter eggs. We had such a good time I went out and bought more eggs.

Easter morning. The kids woke up bright and early. They couldn't wait to follow their jellybean trail to their baskets, then go outside for the Easter egg hunt. Fun times. They all looked so cute in their Easter church clothes . I really wanted a picture of the kids together, but it wasn't happening.

Favorite pics of the week

Janie thinks she is such a big girl now.

Lily loves to pose

Porter ready for his Spring Sing at school

Don't you love the hats the kids wore. They were nice and even gave Lily one. She thinks she's part of Porter's class. I teach the Art Masters in Porter's class so Lily always comes along, so she knows all the kids and they love her.

Porter loves his teacher. She is great!!!! We loved watching Porter sing the songs. He knew all the words and actions and did a super job.

Palm Springs

The Borquist family

Dori, Belva, Jan, Sue, Steve
Sisters and Brother

Friends- Jillian and Jane

Jane loved eating the grass. We had a few choking incidents.

Matt took Porter on a great hike in the Indian reservation.

They reached their destination- the waterfall.

Janie wasn't so sure about the water, but ended up loving it. It will be a fun summer of swimming.

Allie and Lily

We had a great Saturday in Palm Springs. Matt's aunt was here from D.C so she invited everyone over for a day of swimming and eating. It was a perfect day. It was so warm and pretty. It was fun visiting with family we haven't seen for a long time. I guess we'll have to wait until next March to see them again. Thanks for a great day!!!!

Porter's birthday celebration

Porter was so excited to open his presents he started opening them before we were awake. Thankfully he waited to open the presents from us. He got a lot of Indiana Jones Lego's. He has been working on them all week and has put them together all by himself.

We took Popsicles for Porter's treat at school.

The friends we took to Porter's party at Hullabaloo's. It was a indoor place with bounce houses, slides, a giant tree house and karaoke. The kids had a blast and it was nice not to have to plan games.
