The snail wins the race!!!!!!!!!!

Porter had a snail race at school today and his won first place. Last night when he was saying his prayers he blessed that his snail would be the fastest and win the race. The Lord was
listening again.

The boys fishing trip in Mexico

The boys had a great weekend fishing off of Ensenada. In Porter's words, "It was probably the most fun I've had in my life. Hawaii is my most favorite beach, but Me-Hee-Co is my most favorite fishing beach."
Porter was finally old enough to go out on the boat with his dad, uncle, grandpa, and other friends. He caught a lot of fish all by himself. He would even cast and hook the fish himself. The boys came home with a lot of fish. Mexico was a success!!!!

For a good laugh

Porter was watching our old video clips and he came across this one. I couldn't stop laughing. Lily was about 15 months old. No one was hurt during the filming of this.

Huntington Beach

We went to Huntington Beach on Saturday to eat and Ruby's at the end of the pier. We had a great time, but it was windy and cold. The kids were happy because they got their vanilla milkshakes with extra cherries on the side. It was fun to be back in our old stomping grounds. Walking around brought so many memories back of living there. To bad we couldn't afford a house there.

Happy 30th birthday to ME!!!!

Porter and Lily gave me beach chairs and umbrella for my birthday. I was excited because we love going to the beach. Matt surprised me with a memory foam bed topper. Hopefully I'll sleep better. It gets harder and harder to get comfortable with a big pregnant belly, but we are excited for baby Jane to get here in 3 more months.

Easter Time

We loved coloring Easter eggs. I don't know if any of the die got on the eggs, but it got all over Lily's hands. That's for sure!
