Adventure Weekend

On Memorial Day morning Matt and his brother Ethan took Porter and Lily to Laguna Beach to fish. The kids had a great time exploring the caves and catching crabs.



After church on Sunday Matt took all three kids to Trabuco canyon to explore while I got to take a nap and go to an interview. Everyone had a fantastic time throwing rocks in the river and swinging on trees with the Indie whip. They all fell asleep on the way home. I loved having a little break and some peace and quiet. Matt sure is a good daddy.

Peek- a- boo

Our cute little Janie is getting big too fast. It is fun to see her learn new things and form her little personality. I'm a little worried because she is very active. We sure love her.

Happy Birthday Big Sis

Happy Birthday to the greatest oldest sister. Amy has always been fun loving, kind, determined, funny, and protective of her younger siblings. I call Amy for all my baby and kid questions. She gives great advice and has been a great example. She has a special family and such fun girls. I really look up to her. She wants everyone to feel good about themselves and would help anyone that needed it. She always has somebody's kids, but has no complaints. She's the greatest.

Best Team Player

Porter loved getting his metal. He even wore it to school the next day.

Lily and Cutie

Porter's first year of T-Ball has finished. He had a great time playing. He is signed up for soccer in the fall. We'll see if that will keep his attention better. When he was in the outfield he would dance and look for insects. He kept us entertained. At the team party Porter received a metal for "best team player". He was very excited and proud. He thought it meant he was the best player on the team. We let him think that.

Make room for Mom

The other night I went to get into bed and this is what I found. Not much room for me. I guess I'll have to take one of the kids beds.

Train Field trip

Porter's class got to ride the train and visit a petting zoo for their field trip. Most of the parents went along so I was able to go and of course Lily. She thinks she is in Porter's class. My kids were in heaven. Feeding and holding the rabbits and Guinea pigs. They both skipped lunch so they could be with the animals and unfortunately when it was time to go I had a couple of sad kids. Now Lily really wants a Guinea pig for her birthday. I'm hoping Webkinz comes out with a Guinea pig so I don't have to have another pet at my house to take care of. We'll have to go back to Zoomers and visit those animals again.
