My brother Jono welcomed baby Sawyer into his family a week ago and we finally got to see our baby nephew tonight. He is so cute and so little. His hair is really dark and pretty long. He is a good mix between jono and shelly. We loved seeing the Collins and the kids had a blast playing with their cousin Carter. We ate some delicious stew and brownies. (If you need a great recepie I got it from Shelly. So I can give it to you.) We just wished we lived closer to eachother so we could play more often.

We had a great day at the beach this weekend. The kids loved being in the chilly water and had fun fishing with their dad. Porter is getting so good at boogie boarding. He even scares me and I have to hold my breath hoping he'll get out of the big waves OK. Thats the parnoid mother I am. I enjoyed relaxing and soaking up the last rays I'll get for a while. Lily loved chasing the birds and dancing in the sand. Matt had a great time in the big waves with his boogie board. Jane loved snoozing on her Momma listening to the calming waves. What more could you ask for? We even finished off our day by going to grandma and grandpa's house and swimming in their warm heated pool, eating pizza, and playing with grandma and grandpa. It was a great day!

Jane looked so cute in her blessing dress. She was so good for her blessing. She was even smiling. Matt gave her a very nice blessing and we had a great time with family. We had a lunch after the blessing. It was so fun to hang out, eat good food, and relax. We had a great day. We love our Janie. We are blessed to have such a sweet girl in our family. Life is good!

Porter's missing a tooth

Porter has had a loose tooth for a while, but the other day I went to pick him up from school and he had a huge grin. He lost his first tooth. He was so proud and couldn't wait to put it under his pillow. He wrote a cute note to the tooth fairy and was so excited to find a dollar under his pillow. I thought he should get more because of inflation, but Matt was happy with just a dollar. So right after school I took him to the 99 cent store and he picked out a toy that lasted for about 99 minutes. It ended up in the garbage. I still catch Porter checking himself out in the mirror and laughing when he sees his little hole.
